Akron Canton Airport Information
Akron Canton Airport is known for it’s large variety of flights, small town feel and highly efficient system of getting passengers where they want to go. It has become known as a quick and convenient alternative to Cleveland Hopkins Airport and rightfully so.
Though there isn’t anything wrong with the Cleveland airport, it is in a significantly more congested area making the whole flying process a bit longer. Many people prefer Akron Canton simply because many of the same flights connect there and it’s a much faster way to get to many of the hubs that Cleveland services such as Atlanta, Denver, Orlando and hundreds of other locations.
Though Akron Canton boasts to be an efficient smaller airport, small is becoming an increasingly less accurate term. With expansions, remodeling and additional runways added in the past 5 years, the airport continues to become a widely used an respected center of travel.
